terms of service

Please note these are in reference to ordering a commission from me. If you're looking for terms of use for my personal creations, please head over to my FAQ on Tumblr.

+ All payments are done through Ko-Fi. I have Ko-Fi set up to accept both Paypal and credit cards through Stripe. Please note all of my prices are listed in USD, as I operate out of the United States. This may affect the actual price you, the commissioner, would be paying if you are using a different currency.+ Payments for commissions must be done before the product is finished. The most I will do before payment is the sketch. If you for any reason need to cancel before the piece is further in development (meaning, before I send you any update beyond a sketch), please let me know and I will cancel it. Otherwise, I cannot offer refunds.+ Updates will be given throughout the commission progress via low-quality versions of the piece. This is generally in the order of: sketch, lineart, background flat colors (if any), character flat colors, then final render (if any). Once you decide it's complete, a high quality version and watermarked version will be sent to you and the order is considered finished.+ I will do as many fixes as necessary -- within reason. I am forgetful, so I do not take offense if you correct me on missing something you explicitly requested. Nor will I be unwilling to make decently sized changes mid-creation of the piece. However, if the piece is currently developed beyond a sketch, I will not scrap it and restart. I will always make sure to clear my current progress with you to best avoid this, but if I fail to do this, that is my fault and I will not hold it against you.+ Due to legal concerns, I will not be taking 18+ art commissions. This is non-negotiable. Do not send me your ID to attempt to get these commissions, either. You will be promptly blocked if not reported.+ However, I am willing to take suggestive or mature (16+) commissions. Some examples of said content include mild gore or blood, evoking darker themes (death, implied abuse, horror, etc.), mild body horror; risque outfits or poses, intense kissing scenes, or mild sexual jokes. Anything that would explicitly include organs where they shouldn't be, excessive bleeding, genitalia, or direct reference to sexual acts would fall into 18+ and I won't do. If you're still uncertain, you can always ask before requesting and I can give you a more specific answer to your request.+ I am capable of fulfilling requests that feature human characters, non-human characters (monster, furry, etc.), and ships! There is little from this that I will turn down, unless it seems outside of my current skill set or makes me uncomfortable. I tend to be pretty open though!+ Pieces featuring mechs, heavy gore, heavy armor, realistic art, or real people are not something I am willing or able to do. Additionally, if I am aware that the creator of the original work you requested has openly banned monetized creation of fanart (i.e., commissions), I disagree with your request due to my personal morals or beliefs, or if your request is too difficult for my current skill set, I will also likely turn it down. I tend to be pretty open, though, so you need not be discouraged!+ My commissions are intended for personal use. This includes, but isn't limited to, social media profile pictures, social media banners, printing a physical copy for yourself or a gift to a friend, YouTube thumbnails, Twitch layouts, and private DnD / roleplay groups. I do not mind what you do with it so long as you respect the following guidelines below.+ Do not commission me with the intent of reprinting, selling, using for advertizing, or making mass-produced merchendise out of the piece. You still do not have my permission to do so even if you decide your initial intention for the completed order has changed.+ Reproduction and selling of my artworks as prints or otherwise is allowed in small batches with my explicit permission only. These will be more expensive than my private-use commissions and this must be communicated up-front. If you are printing out a single piece for a gift or personal use, prices will remain the same.+ You can post the full art of the work you commissioned from me on your social media pages or otherwise so long as it has my watermark on it. You should get two versions of the piece when your commission is complete, one with and without a watermark. If you did not receive a watermarked version, please let me know. Do not post the one without a watermark publicly.+ Additionally, my artwork, commission or otherwise, may not be used for non-fungible tokens (NFT's) of any kind. This is non-negotiable.+ My works, commissions, personal art, written, or otherwise; may also not be used to train any machines or artificial intelligence (AI) in any regard. This is also non-negotiable.Have more questions? You can ask me on Tumblr.
